Channel 4 is reportedly preparing to air a controversial documentary reportedly titled Camilla: Harry’s ‘Wicked’ Stepmother?, which is expected to cast Queen Camilla in a negative light.

The documentary will explore her relationship with Prince Harry portraying her as the “wicked stepmother” figure in his life.

According to The Sun, the documentary suggests that Camilla spent decades crafting a positive public image and claims that the late Queen Elizabeth II never wanted her to sit on the throne.

The documentary, initially delayed due to King Charles’ recent cancer diagnosis, is now set to be broadcast in the coming weeks.

Insiders say the film leans heavily in favor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, portraying them as victims of alleged unkindness from the royal family.

With Buckingham Palace reportedly unhappy about its content, the documentary is expected to stir significant controversy.

Prince Harry’s complex feelings toward Camilla

This documentary comes in the wake of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, where he shared personal insights about his stepmother.

In the book, Harry claimed that both he and his brother, Prince William, begged their father not to marry Camilla.

He referred to her as “dangerous” and “a villain,” suggesting that her efforts to rehabilitate her image after her affair with Charles made her a formidable figure in the royal family.

In a 2023 interview with Anderson Cooper,Harry explained, “She was the villain, she was a third person in the marriage… That made her dangerous because of the connections she was forging with the British press.”

Despite these comments, Harry later clarified his stance, telling Good Morning America that he doesn’t see Camilla as an “evil stepmother.”

He expressed compassion for her role in the royal family and acknowledged the difficult position she was in as the third person in his parents’ marriage.

As the documentary’s release nears, it is likely to reignite debate about Camilla’s role within the royal family and further strain the ongoing rift between the Sussexes and the rest of the British monarchy.

The upcoming broadcast will offer viewers an in-depth look at Camilla’s life and legacy, but it’s already clear that its content may spark serious reactions from both the public and the royal household.
