I’m not a big fan of dating.

I have dinner with male friends and it’s instantly, that’s the new man.

The phone is ringing off the hook from your publicist saying, ‘Did you have dinner with so and so?’ and it’s yes, I did and no, I’m not.

So you sort of just meet people.

But another significant reason relates to how she grew up and observed her parents’ relationship.

While she didn’t go into many details, the actress mentioned in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that what she experienced in their relationship didn’t exactly inspire her to want the same for herself:

It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships, I think, because I really was kind of alone.

I don’t know.

My parents, watching my family’s relationship, didn’t make me kind of go: ‘Oh, I can’t wait to do that.’

According to her, she also struggled with knowing how to share her life with someone and what she might have to give up for that — she felt she “didn’t have any real training in that give-and-take.”

In addition to Pitt, Aniston was also married to Justin Theroux.

Their divorce was rumored to have happened because they wanted to live in different cities, but he had to deny those claims.

In an interview with Allure, the actress mentioned that, for now, she doesn’t see herself getting married again, but it’s not a decision set in stone:

Never say never, but I don’t have any interest. I’d love a relationship.

Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support.

The real truth is that the reasons behind her unlucky love life are a mix of factors, including whether her partner is genuinely interested.

Although Aniston has expressed a desire to meet someone, she often finds herself going on a date only to get an invitation to star in a movie instead.

Still speaking with Allure, she also acknowledged that she can excel in many areas, except for this one.
