The Royal Family is being torn apart by plans for King Charles’ eventual funeral and the Crown’s succession, it has been claimed.

Following the monarch’s cancer diagnosis, a series of plans have been put in place for his passing.

However, Tom Sykes, a Royal commentator for the Daily Beast, suggests that these plans have caused tension within Buckingham Palace.

According to Sykes, the power dynamic between Charles and William has shifted since the King’s diagnosis, with whispers of executive power and influence starting to lean towards William.

Tom also highlights potential issues for the Duke of Sussex.

He suggests that Harry would find it easier to negotiate with King Charles than King William if he decides to return to Royal duties.

A Royal source allegedly told Tom that Harry believed he might have had 20 years with his father as the ultimate authority to mend their relationship and doubts that the Duke of Sussex would have released his explosive book, Spare, if William and Kate were reigning.

In April, it was revealed that plans for King Charles’ eventual funeral (code-named Operation Menai Bridge) had been revisited by the palace due to growing concerns about his health.

The report also suggests that King Charles’ passing will significantly affect Queen Camilla, who is allegedly merely “tolerated” by Prince William and not particularly liked or loved.

Questions have been raised about where Queen Camilla will reside when Prince William becomes king, especially considering her lack of personal wealth.

Rumours are swirling that King Charles wants Prince Andrew to vacate his residence, the Royal Lodge, so that Camilla can move in after he passes away.

However, it’s suggested that Andrew is refusing to do so, banking on this issue being low on William’s list of priorities once he becomes king.

This comes after King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to end one of the toughest and most challenging years of their lives with a touch of regal glamour, as the pair prepare to host their second state visit of the year in December.
