Meghan Markle has been slammed for making a huge social media mistake, with one royal expert believing it is a sign of her “impatience”.
Royal commentator Richard Eden appeared on the Daily Mail show Palace Confidential to discuss the very delayed launch of the duchess’ lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
Despite launching on social media in March, the brand has yet to sell any products.
Eden, who previously said the fact he was going to reveal her new brand in the newspaper earlier this year may have prompted Meghan to announce it quicker than anticipated on social media, said: “Anyone knows you don’t launch a social media account and then do nothing.
“The arrogance of it really, just like ‘here we are and we’re not going to do anything’.
The whole point of social media is it’s social, and you socialise.
“It’s definitely been launched before it’s ready; that’s kind of self-evident. I think it’s next year when something might happen.
Essentially it’s all about impatience.”
