Taylor Swift Chose Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Game Over Major Event….see more
Pop star Taylor Swift made it clear that her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is a priority for her.
Despite her busy schedule as she prepares for the final stop of her Eras Tour in Canada, Swift was able to attend the Chiefs’ Week 10 showdown with the Denver Broncos at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
Interestingly, it’s not only her Eras Tour preparation that she skipped in order to make it to Kelce’s game on Sunday.
The 2024 MTV EMAs show was held on the same day in Manchester, England, and Swift was nominated for a number of award categories.
However, as mentioned, Swift didn’t attend the event and instead went to the Chiefs’ game to support her boyfriend.
Despite her absence from the 2024 MTV EMAs, Taylor Swift still bagged plenty of awards.
In fact, she was the most-awarded artist of the night with four wins: Best Video (“Fortnight”), Best Live (The Eras Tour), Best U.S. Act and Best Artist.
Swift’s Best Artist win is already her third in the awards show, making her the first musician to do so.
Furthermore, her Best US Act award is her fourth, the most by any U.S. artist in the history of the MTV EMAs.
To make the day even better for Swift, Travis Kelce showed up for the Chiefs against the Broncos while she watched from his suite.
The NFL star made eight receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown, bringing his career TD tally to 76.
Kelce is now tied with Tony Gonzalez for the most receiving touchdowns in Kansas City history.
What a day for Swift, indeed.
