The latest data Super Bowl-viewing data from Nielsen show women tuned in at higher levels than ever before.
Women watching the championship game on CBS and Univision posted a 24 percent jump from last year’s Super Bowl, while girls ages 12-17 reached an 11 percent increase.
Women overall tuned at higher levels overall, with a nine percent raise, to 58.8 million.
The surge is in part due to Taylor Swift attending the game after flying in from Japan to see boyfriend Travis Kelce play in the Super Bowl for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The latest data from Nielsen shows the average audience from the Super Bowl reached an average of 123.7million, higher than first thought.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime to win the Super Bowl.
Swift and Kelce have been publicly dating since September, after she attended a Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.
Swift was in attendance at 13 of Kansas City’s game this season, including all four playoff wins in four different cities.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer’s trip to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas took her from Tokyo to Los Angeles on Saturday after finishing up the Japanese leg of ‘The Eras Tour’.
CBS’ ratings were up across the board this season, as people tuned in to see Kelce and Swift throughout the NFL year.
