Tom Brady is suiting up to tackle a new era of parenting as his and ex Bridget Moynahan‘s 18-year-old son Jack finishes his senior year.

“I’ve got a kid who’s graduating from high school soon,” the Blue Bloods star said on the Oct. 6 episode of Kristin Davis’ podcast Are You a Charlotte?, explaining her plans to take some time off work. “I’m just leaning into that.”

As for Jack’s game plan, Tom wouldn’t mind if it involved his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

He got game 100 [percent],” the former quarterback wrote on Instagram in July alongside footage of the teen playing basketball. “Future Wolverine @UMichBBall.”

But no matter where Jack ends up, he’ll always be close to Tom’s heart. Quite literally, the seven-time Super Bowl champ recently sharing a photo of his necklace honoring Jack along with son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, from his former marriage to Gisele Bündchen. As he wrote in the Oct. 3 Instagram Story, his kids are, “Forever in my heart.”

And Tom will forever be on a coparenting team with Gisele and Bridget.

“When you decide to have children, that’s a big undertaking, and I don’t think you take it lightly,” the athlete told Entertainment Tonight in 2023, less than a year after his and Gisele’s divorce. “And I think these kids that come up under your roof, you want to provide them with values, so that when they move forward in their life, they have a real solid base and foundation. And I think myself and their mom have done an amazing job of providing that, and I think that we’re just gonna keep doing it.”

Even when there are fumbles in life, the family gets back in the game.

“We’re never a finished product,” he continued. “The kids aren’t finished products. At the end of the day, we’re learning along with them. And all you can do is the best you can do with the opportunities that you have, and the challenges you have, and we all have unique challenges to our life that we deal with.”
