As Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift opted to unwind with a meal in New York, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes opted to spend their NFL bye week in different circumstances.
The Kansas City Chiefs QB made a surprise appearance on College GameDay, joining the likes of Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit.
The ESPN crew were in town for the top-10 matchup between Mahomes’ alma mater, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and the BYU Cougars.
Mahomes just the team as they made their Week 11 picks and took time to apologize to Chiefs fans for his thoughts on the potential outcome from Lubbock, Texas.
He said: ‘I’m taking Texas A&M. Marcel Reed, that defense getting after it. Sorry to all my Chiefs Kingdom, a lot of Mizzou fans there, but I’m going with the Aggies’.
Both Patrick and Brittany were seen cheering on the home side and Mahomes at one point was even seen doing a dance in the crowd after a Texas touchdown.
