Taylor Swift is going to the movies.

On Oct. 11 in L.A., the 33-year-old singer debuted her latest concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, in theaters on Oct. 13.

But this is hardly the superstar’s first big (or small!) screen moment. In fact, she’s been acting since the early 2000s, appearing on episodes of TV hits like CSI and New Girl and starring alongside famous friends in films including Cats and Valentine’s Day.

As The Eras Tour goes wide, look back on some of Swift’s most major moments in television and movies — plus, what she wore to the premieres!

Swift had a cameo in pal Miley Cyrus’s 2009 film based on her hit series, Hannah Montana. The singer played … a singer, performing “Crazier,” a song she wrote for the film. The budding star was reportedly a “hit” with the director, MTV reported.

At the time she appeared on CSI, Swift was fulfilling “a dream,” MTV reported, as she played someone who died on the show.

“I’ve always wanted to be one of the characters on there that they’re trying to figure out what happened to,” she told CBS News. “I also love the whole crime-scene aspect of it, of figuring things out and analyzing.”

In her first animated film, Swift gave voice to Audrey, love interest to Zac Efron’s Ted.

“As a kid, that was my first exposure to poetry,” Swift told Screen Slam of working on a Dr. Seuss project. “I love the payoff that you get when you complete the rhyme.”

Taylor Swift on ‘New Girl’ in 2013.

New Girl was known for its amazing celebrity cameos (ahem, Prince!), but Swift’s stole the show, as she stopped Cece’s wedding from happening on the season 2 finale.

“I’m a huge fan of hers,” showrunner Liz Meriwether told EW at the time. “I was fully geeking out about meeting [Taylor]. I didn’t go to meet her right away because I kind of had to compose myself — there’s a 14-year-old girl inside of me.” And, by the way, she “nailed it,” Meriwether added of her monologue.

The singer’s role was brief but powerful in the 2014 adaptation of the novel. And according to Variety, director Phillip Noyce gave her a brunette wig “to make her distinctive and un-Taylor-like,” he said. “Being vulnerable comes very naturally to her, because she’s a conduit of emotions in her work. So she just has to go to the place, as I kept reminding her, that she goes to when she writes.”

Swift complemented costars Katie Holmes and Odeya Rushand, who wore light pink and red, respectively, for the film’s New York City moment at the Ziegfeld Theater.

During her brief time on screen in David O. Russell’s period piece, Swift was [SPOILER] ultimately murdered. Interestingly, her stunt double for that dramatic moment, Kelly Richardson, has also doubled for Swift’s pal Blake Lively in the past, per Vanity Fair.
