Crafty Creator Replicates Taylor Swift’s Grammy Dress Using Paper Cutouts and a Cough Drop
Swift made history at the 2024 Grammys, becoming the first artist ever to win album of the year four times
A talented Swiftie has recreated Taylor Swift’s 2024 Grammys look!
In a video uploaded on Instagram following Swift’s historic night at the Grammys, social media user Angelica Hicks made her own version of the singer’s strapless Schiaparelli gown.
The video began with Hicks using a piece of paper to hold a white bedsheet around her body. After tightening a piece of the sheet around her waist to make a high slit, she used a piece of black tape to make her version of Swift’s custom-made Lorraine Schwartz vintage watch that was worn as a choker
Hicks made the design come to life by cutting a photo of a watch face from a magazine and sticking it on top of the tape. She replicated the musician’s layered necklace with foil paper and used a cough drop to create a jewelry pendant.
The social media user recreated Swift’s black opera gloves with a pair of black tights. She also matched the pop star’s hair and makeup by wearing red lipstick and styling her hair in textured waves. Fellow Swifties praised Hicks in the comment section.
“This girl has a PhD in creativity 😮,” one follower wrote in the comment section. “She won the Grammy you won the Gram,” wrote another follower.
