Kate Middleton’s initiative with Prince Harry falls short as it clashes with Queen Camilla’s plan…read more

Kate Middleton’s ambition of bringing Prince Harry back into the British Royal Family could be set to fail as the Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales disagree and battle for the influential right to whisper in King Charles III‘s ear.

The 40-year-old Duke of Sussex sensationally quit his status as a working royal back in 2020 when he, his wife Meghan Markle and his son, decided to relocate to California in a bid to get away from intense media scrutiny.

Then an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 caused the bridges between the Duke and his brother and his father to explode and collapse and in the successive years since, reparation has seemed off the cards entirely, worsened by Prince Harry’s memoir in 2023.

Despite that, Middleton, who is highly-family oriented, has pushed for the brothers and father to settle their differences and even pressured Prince William and King Charles, who is said to have kept a soft spot for his youngest child, into celebrating Prince Harry’s birthday on September 15.

Yet she could find a tough rival in her way as Queen Camilla seems insistent on ensuring King Charles stays out of any reunification attempts for now, on the grounds of his own long-term health.

“She [Camilla] has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy,” an insider told The Express.

“The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”

Prince Harry reconnects with his                royal identity

It’s been a relatively strong end to September for Prince Harry after a United States judge ruled his visa application can remain private before he headed to New York City for a series of engagements.

One of them was an appearance at The Diana Award, created in honor of his dead mother, where he was celebrated as a special guest as he steps into his royal identity once again despite placing 5470 miles between himself and Buckingham Palace.

Embracing his mother’s reputation for humanitarianism and philanthropic causes, the Duke of Sussex praised the efforts of The Diana Award organizers for their quests to improve mental health around the world.

“I think you guys are leading the charge in hopefully being able to break down the stigma to be able to continue these conversations,” Prince Harry said at The Diana Award ceremony on September 23.

“I know that my mum would be incredibly proud of you guys.

“Not just you, but all of the winners, and Tessy [Ojo], you’ve been in this for a very long time so thank you for that as well.”
