King Charles is reportedly risking his health to fight and keep the monarchy afloat…see more

King Charles III is doing his best to keep the British monarchy afloat, but is reportedly losing his grip on power as preparations swing in Prince William’s direction to prepare for the death of Queen Elizabeth II’s successor.

Charles ascended to the throne in September 2022 but 18 months into his reign, trouble arose when he was diagnosed with cancer following surgery for a prostate enlargement at The London Clinic in January 2024.

As a result, the 75-year-old has largely stepped back from his public-facing duties to battle the disease whilst his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, but most importantly, Prince William, have assumed more and more duties.

Now around nine months on, it’s said that the King has stopped receiving treatment for his fight against the disease as he aims to go on an 11-day tour and needs the strength to do so, desperate to prove the British monarchy is as strong as ever.

But could it be far more sinister than a show of unity? Reports are that the King is bidding to claw back his executive power following Kate Middleton’s cancer-free announcement video, which was not signed off by Charles.

The video is said to show how power has shifted towards Prince William in the wake of his fathers’ health issues as advisors and officials prepare for what may be next if his dad doesn’t manage to respond to chemotherapy.

“To get away with such cheek,” Tom Sykes told The Daily Beast.

“Showed William and Kate have an instinctive understanding of how the power dynamic has shifted since the King’s diagnosis.”

The King desperate for Australian           impression

So if Charles and William are locked in a power struggle, and the son of Queen Elizabeth II understands a show of strength will move things back to his favor, when could he hope to make that gesture?

Well, what better than a trip to Australia? One of the remnants of the British Empire, which evolved into the Commonwealth of Nations, Australia is located 9,500 miles away from the United Kingdom.

The flight, expected to take around 19.5 hours commercially, to the other side of the world would absolutely prove he is still capable of being the head of the family and the head of the state.

“The fortnight in the run up to the royal tour has been kept deliberately light for His Majesty,” a source told The Daily Mail.

“He will still be undertaking meetings.

“[He’s] doing his paperwork and still come down for treatment.

Australia is a big deal and he wants to be fighting fit.”
