The 31-year-old mother of three daughters is aware of the hectic environment

Kylie Kelce, wife of Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce, recently spoke to PEOPLE about the “controversial” decision to leave her daughters home for Sunday’s Super Bowl clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas

The 31-year-old mother of three daughters explained how her children don’t go to every single game, especially if their father is not playing, so they won’t be cheering for “Uncle Trav” this Sunday.

I think it’s a little bit controversial, but even during regular season games, I don’t take the girls to every game,” Kylie said. “They’re still very young.

“A stadium with thousands of people can be overwhelming, and there’s three of them. It can get hectic, it’s just a lot.”

Kylie Kelce focused on cheering for Chiefs
Kylie said she is instead focused on cheering for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, unlike last year when they defeated her husband’s Eagles.

The goal of the day is to just cheer on the Chiefs and make sure that we cheer hard enough that Uncle Trav can feel the energy,” Kylie said. “And he can put that right onto the field.”

Their two older daughters did attend that Super Bowl and Kylie likely had a tough time keeping them under control, so now she wants to fully enjoy the game
