Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s production company released a new project, Polo, which is a Netflix sports documentary series that follows the life of polo players.

It’s received lackluster reviews and virtually no marketing, which has raised some eyebrows.

In fact, many theorized that the Sussexes were distancing themselves from the project since there was no marketing from them for it.

Along with that, insiders have alleged that the pair may be distancing themselves from polo altogether, and Meghan is allegedly “relieved” about it.

Insiders told Closer Online UK that the mild reviews for Polo has upset Harry, but Meghan? She’s allegedly trying to help him, but isn’t too upset about it.

“Meghan is trying to be understanding but apparently, she’s somewhat relieved because she’s seeing this as an opportunity to convince Harry he should put more of his focus on other hobbies.

She’d much rather he spends his free time surfing and hiking,” they said to the outlet.

“Obviously, she can’t ban Harry from playing polo, but it’s no secret she’d rather it not be front and centre in their lives.”

Now, why is she so relieved? The same insiders allege that it’s because Meghan allegedly never bonded as well with the wives and girlfriends of the polo players, or at least didn’t bond as much as she may have wanted.

“She hasn’t really gelled with most of the WAGs.

She was expecting it to be this great social opportunity, but it really hasn’t been, at least not for her.

She’s not expecting him to totally move on from polo, but she’d like him to dial it back and put his attention on other things, and the harsh reality is that’s more likely now,” they said to the outlet.

Meghan is actually very close with one of the WAGs.

One of Harry’s and Meghan’s best friends is polo player Nacho Figueras, whose wife is Delfina Blaquier.

Per DailyMail, she and Meghan are best friends, even referring to themselves as “Polo Wives.”
