Two US Open champions, Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka, secured their spots in one of the most prestigious events of the year, despite their lack of success on the clay courts of Rome.

Gauff and Osaka are participating in a show hosted by Black Entertainment Television for exclusive recognition. Gauff and Osaka are nominated for additional prizes, which highlights their commitment to maintaining tennis as a top sport in the United States.

The Black Entertainment Television Network is reportedly getting ready to conduct its own BET Awards ceremony this year. Tennis fans went crazy when they saw Gauff and Osaka’s list of nominees for the Sportswoman of the Year Award.
Currently ranked no.173, the Japanese played her last match on the 13th of May when she was overcome by world no.7 Qinwen Zheng 6-2 6-4 in the 4th round in Rome (draw).

Currently, during this year the Japanese has managed to achieve a 12-9 record.
(career-high), the American played her last match on the 16th of May when she capitulated to world no.1 Iga Swiatek 6-4 6-3 in the semifinal in Rome (draw).
At the moment, during this season Gauff has achieved a compiled 25-8 match record. Coco conquered 1 title in Auckland.
Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff played each other 4 times. Their actual record is 2-2. The last time they squared off, Coco Gauff won 6-4 6-4 in the 2nd round in San Jose (Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic) in August 2022.

“When Travis Kelce arrived quietly at the private memorial service in Dallas, no one expected the Chiefs’ tight end to turn the somber gathering into a moment that would be remembered forever. ▶️ WATCH THE VIDEO: As Marshawn Kneeland’s father sat in the front row holding a framed photo of his son, his hands trembling, Travis approached — not as a football superstar, but as a teammate, a brother, and a man who understood the weight of loss. Placing one arm gently around Kneeland’s father’s shoulders, Travis spoke softly, his voice steady yet full of emotion: “Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t just a player on our team — he was the soul of it. His energy, his laughter, his fight… they’ll stay with us every time we step on that field.” For a moment, the chapel fell completely silent. Then Travis lowered his head, offering a quiet prayer. His words, unspoken yet deeply felt, carried through the room — a promise that Marshawn’s spirit would live on through the game he loved and the men who played beside him. By the time Travis stepped back, tears filled the eyes of teammates, family, and friends alike. In that small chapel, it wasn’t about football anymore. It was about brotherhood, grief, and the kind of love that refuses to fade — even after the final whistle.”
