Angelina Jolie is keeping her birthday low-key.
As Jolie turns 49 on Tuesday, June 4, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE that Jolie is spending the day with her children: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Pax, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
Angelina will celebrate her birthday with a quiet day at home with her kids. Zahara is home from college, and she looks forward to everyone spending the day together,” the source says.
Most recently, Jolie produced the Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders along with her daughter Vivienne, who is also working on the production as her mother’s assistant. Jolie was nominated for co-producing the musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s 1967 book The Outsiders, which is up for 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Direction of a Musical.
As PEOPLE reported in August 2023, Vivienne inspired her mother to take on a lead producer role with The Outsiders after they attended the musical’s world premiere in California.
