Popular NFL WAG praises Taylor Swift and says she owes her everything…read more
The wife of San Francisco 49ers’ Kyle Juszczyk credits Taylor Swift for the success of her clothing line after the Eras Tour star rocked a custom design to a Kansas City Chiefs game, prompting an explosion in popularity.
Kristin Juszczyk’s business venture was initially small-time despite her hard efforts until Swift was spotted in a Travis Kelce-themed jacket when temperatures plummeted at Arrowhead Stadium as they took on the Miami Dolphins.
And since that moment, the 30-year-old has gone on to create clothing for Simone Biles, Olivia Culpo and Brittany Mahomes as well as earning a contract to produce the gear officially on behalf of the NFL as her venture booms into life.
“She single-handedly changed my career. I feel like I owe her everything, truly,” Juszczyk told PageSix.com.
“It was such a pinch-me moment seeing her wear something of mine.
“And it just completely changed the trajectory of everything that I was doing. She opened up so many doors for me.
And she looked amazing!”
With a career as a real estate agent as well as her husband earning a $27m deal with the San Francisco 49ers, starting a business journey as a fashion designer is not necessarily something Kristin Juszczyk had to do.
Yet her reason for doing so actually comes from her husband himself, due to his longevity and talent with the Californian team as she began to grow tired of repeatedly wearing the same outfits.
“My husband’s been so fortunate to have such a long career in the NFL,” Kristin added.
“And I just got really sick of having the same three or four pieces in rotation.
“We had a box of Kyle’s merch, so I just kind of got inspired to start cutting [T-shirts] up and see what I could make out of them.
The first thing I ever made for a game day was actually a pair of patchwork sweatpants.
Looking back now, they are so bad, but I was so proud of them.”
