Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a Donald Trump escape plan to an unexpected country…..see more

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made headlines again with their recent purchase of a stunning $4.7 million home in Portugal.

This new residence is being dubbed an “emergency escape plan” for the couple as they prepare for the potential political shifts that could come with Donald Trump’s presidency in January 2025.

According to a source, “The wheels could really come off for Harry and Meghan if Trump decides to get involved with his [Harry’s] citizenship so that’s why they have purchased overseas.

They needed a Plan B.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to settle near Princess Eugenie after visiting her and Jack Brooksbank at their beautiful home south of Lisbon.

Their new property is part of the luxurious Costa Terra Golf and Ocean Club along Portugal’s picturesque West Coast.

With Trump’s apparent disdain for Prince Harry, concerns about the Duke’s visa status have been growing.

The President-elect’s remarks about Harry’s 2020 visa application have only intensified these worries.

When asked if Harry would receive “special privileges” if he had lied on his application, Trump stated, “No.

We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.”

This has sparked discussions about the significant powers the American president holds, which could be leveraged against the Duke.

Meghan and Harry’s bold move amid political uncertainty
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams commented that the Sussexes’ move “makes clear that they are connected closely to part of the royal family.”

This connection is particularly relevant as Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, have been increasingly supportive of Prince William at various public events, raising speculation about their potential roles within the royal family.

In light of all this unfolding drama, it seems Meghan and Harry are taking proactive steps to safeguard their future.

After all, it’s wise to have a backup plan, especially in such unpredictable times.
With Trump’s win in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, it’s clear that the political landscape is shifting, leaving many to wonder what the future holds for the Sussexes.

Ultimately, Meghan and Harry are simply trying to navigate through these turbulent waters, and who can blame them for seeking a place of refuge?
