Jonathan Owens was feeling grateful for his wife, Simone Biles, on the Olympian’s birthday.

On Thursday, Owens, 28, posted a sweet tribute to Biles on her 27th birthday, and the NFL player called his wife his “rock” and his “best friend” in the caption.

“Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul, my amazing wife,” Owens began. “So crazy to me how life aligns you with the person that you’re meant to be with, you’ve made me a better man in so many ways I can’t explain it.”

Owens continued, “My heart, my rock and my best friend all in one. I love you so much baby, this is going to be a special year for you and I can’t wait to support you every step along the way.”

The Instagram post included 10 pictures of the couple from their recent oceanside photoshoot in Hawaii, where the couple vacationed earlier this month.

Biles commented on the post, writing, “obsessed with you husband.”

On Tuesday, Owens signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears after entering the NFL off-season as a free agent. His agent, Sunny Shah, told NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo that Owens will leave the Green Bay Packers after he signed a one-year contract with the team in 2023.

Jonathan Owens was feeling grateful for his wife, Simone Biles, on the Olympian’s birthday.

On Tuesday, Owens signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears after entering the NFL off-season as a free agent. His agent, Sunny Shah, told NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo that Owens will leave the Green Bay Packers after he signed a one-year contract with the team in 2023.

Owens then confirmed the news on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Appreciate it @packers for the opportunity . And Packer nation for welcoming me and my wife with open arms, will never forget my time in GB ,” he wrote in the Tuesday post.

Biles celebrated her husband’s new NFL contract on social media after he confirmed the news and thanked the Packers’ fans for their support during his time in Green Bay. “Just wanted to say thank you packer nation for embracing my husband & I green bay will always hold a special place in our hearts!” Biles wrote in her first post on Tuesday.

The gymnast also posted about the new location, praising the city’s renowned hot dogs and pizza and adding, “Also, I just love the city of Chicago.” Biles wrote, “I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband hahahahaaha,” in another post.

Concluding her excited posts, Biles said she is “incredibly proud” of Owens, and added, “The grind never stops! this is just the beginning!”

Owens and Biles got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2022 and legally married at the 1910 Harris County Courthouse in Houston, Texas, in April 2023. One month later, they held a lavish ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with 140 guests.
