During her appearance on the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward” podcast, Biles opened up about the NFL player she looks up to the most.
While she certainly praised her husband for his hard work and dedication, especially highlighting his journey as an undrafted player from Division 2 football, she couldn’t help but pick Patrick Mahomes.
Biles said: “I mean, besides my husband, because he’s broken down stigmas that aren’t typical — like he’s D2, undrafted, in year seven in the league — which is so good for kids to see, especially when he hosts his football camps.
But I really think we always go back to Patrick Mahomes.”
She further gushed about Mahomes’ incredible skills:
“A freak of nature — how does he always pull it out? It’s like the Chiefs could be down, and he’s just a miracle worker.
He’d probably kill me for saying that or admitting it, at least.”
Even though Biles singled out Mahomes as a player she admires, it’s clear that her love and admiration for her husband remain strong.
