Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are celebrating a major milestone in their relationship on Tuesday.
It is exactly one year since the pop superstar, who misses the chiefs’ win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night , attended her first-ever Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on her boyfriend.
Swift made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2023 when the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears 41-10.
The singer took up her now customary position in Kelce’s luxury suite for the game and watched on alongside his mom Donna.
She immediately got into the spirit, too, and seemed to yell ‘let’s f***ing go’ in response to Kelce’s third-quarter touchdown.
After a whirlwind 12 months in the spotlight Swift has now been to 15 Chiefs games, including their Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers back in February.
She lost her perfect attendance record on Sunday night, however, when she missed her first game of this season.
Swift watched Kelce and the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in the first two weeks but sat out the road victory over the Falcons.
Instead, she chose to spend her weekend in New York City and was spotted on a low-key night out with BFF Gigi Hadid, where she rocked a plaid miniskirt as they grabbed a bite to eat at The Corner Store restaurant in SoHo.
Swift is currently on a break from her smash-hit Eras Tour and it remains to be seen how many games she will squeeze in before her shows resume in Miami on October 18.
The Eras Tour finally finishes on December 8, setting Swift up to return to Kelce’s games towards the end of the regular season and then their attempt to win an unprecedented third-straight Super Bowl.
Swift didn’t miss much on Sunday night as Kelce delivered a performance that led to some fans and analysts to suggest he should retire.
NFL analysts and fans are adamant Travis Kelce is hurtling towards retirement after his latest performance continued the worst form of his NFL career.
Kelce, who was caught by TV cameras looking particularly miserable on the sideline in a clip which went viral, only had four catches for 30 yards in Atlanta as his sluggish start to the season continued.
NBC’s lead analyst Cris Collinsworth admitted he was ‘flabbergasted’ by Kelce on Sunday night, having also watched him struggle in week one against the Ravens.
He said on commentary: ‘I’m just flabbergasted. I mean, one game, big deal. Two games, alright.
‘This is the third game now where we have not seen the magic of (Patrick) Mahomes and Kelce, and I can’t really explain that one.’
