Taylor Swift Expresses Gratitude to Fans for Artist of the Year Win at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024

Taylor Swift shared a sweet video message to her fans as she won Artist of the Year during the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday – but notably was not in attendance.

The Bad Blood hitmaker, 34 – who arrived back to L.A. on Monday afternoon after spending Easter in Pennsylvania with Travis Kelce and his family – was also honored with five other trophies, such as Pop Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year.

After being introduced by NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Backstreet Boys member, A. J. McLean, a clip popped up on a large screen inside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Swift could be seen standing in front of a plain white wall and began with, ‘I want to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award.’

‘iHeart, you have just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career.’

Especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I’m so grateful for that. To the fans, it’s completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack to your life.’

The star continued, ‘To anyone who has included me in those choices, I’m so, so, so thankful for that. You know, we have so many exciting things ahead of us.’

‘I’m continuing on with the tour,’ Taylor said of her Eras Tour, which is slated to resume on May 9 in Paris.

‘Most importantly, I have a new album called The Tortured Poets Department which comes out April 19th. I’m so proud of it,’ Swift gushed towards the camera.

In conclusion, she said, ‘I cannot wait to share it with you. Thank you for voting for me for Artist of the Year. I can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys. We have a lot of exciting things coming up. Thank you so much.’

The Grammy winner could be seen wearing a fitted, blue top with capped sleeved and a scooped neckline. A gold-chained necklace as well as a dainty earrings were added to accessorize the look.

Her blonde locks flowed down past her shoulders in light waves while her bangs gently fell onto her forehead.

She not only won Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year, but also TikTok Bop of the Year, Best Lyrics for Is It Over Now (Taylor’s Version) and Favorite Tour Style.

Taylor notably attended last year’s ceremony, and was also the recipient of a big win: The Innovator Award.

Swift chose to not make an appearance at the ceremony, despite currently residing in Los Angeles with boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the couple both enjoy downtime in their busy schedules.

The pair are spending quality time together at her lavish, $25 million mansion located in Beverly Hills.

Last month in March, a source told Us Weekly that the lovebirds are ‘nesting’ and ‘focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together.’

At the time, a separate insider also gave an inside look to DailyMail.com at the pair’s plans as they fully embrace two months of downtime together.

‘This is the first time the two of them have had no commitments and they are both really looking forward to being a normal couple and playing house.’

‘She is looking forward to sleeping in and cooking dinners at home,’ the insider added.
