As per a report from People on February 12, Swift and Kelce first met at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023 when the NFL star was spotted attending her Eras Tour event. Kelce saw Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show from his private box.

However, the two did not meet until after her show was done. Travis Kelce later explained to WSJ Magazine in November 2023 that he took help from people close to Taylor Swift to get her attention. Kelce also mentioned that he had help from some members of the Swift family to get her attention, saying:

She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but…when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker,”
