Travis Kelce chooses to marry Katy Perry over Taylor Swift in resurfaced clip… after the Chiefs star watched the Eras Tour with his girlfriend’s former Bad Blood frenemy

Travis Kelce would choose to marry Katy Perry over girlfriend Taylor Swift, reemerged footage shows.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been dating pop superstar Swift since last summer with the couple taking their relationship to new heights by jetting around the world to support each other at his Super Bowl and her Eras Tour concert.

However, while their relationship goes from strength to strength, the Super Bowl winner appeared to favor another pop princess over his 14-time Grammy Award-winning girlfriend back in 2016.

An old interview the NFL star did with AfterBuzz TV back in 2016 resurfaced on Friday after both Travis and Katy attended Taylor’s show in Sydney.

The football player is playing the classic game of ‘Kiss, Marry, Kill’ and is faced with the tough choice between Taylor, Katy and Ariana Grande.

He reluctantly choses to kill Ariana, while insisting he does actually think she’s great, narrowing down the kiss or marry options to Taylor and Katy. He ultimately opts for a mere peck with his now-girlfriend and plumps to marry the California Girls singer.

The tight end is obviously now very loved up with Taylor and actually crossed paths with Katy in the VIP tent at the Eras Tour, but his choice is somewhat ironic given the bad blood between the two songstresses back in 2016.

It’s no secret that Katy and Taylor had a rather nasty falling out, with the latter even penning her 2015 song Bad Blood about their dispute – which began when Katy apparently tried to hire a bunch of Taylor’s backup dancers and ‘sabotage an entire arena tour.’

However, the two former frenemies appear to have put their feud behind them as Katy was seen dancing along to the 1989 hit Friday.

Katy is now a fan of the song as she filmed video of Taylor performing the track and at one point, turned the camera on herself as she sang some of the lyrics which include: ‘Now we got problems, and I don’t think we can solve ’em, you made a really deep cut and baby now we’ve got bad blood.’

“When Travis Kelce arrived quietly at the private memorial service in Dallas, no one expected the Chiefs’ tight end to turn the somber gathering into a moment that would be remembered forever. ▶️ WATCH THE VIDEO: As Marshawn Kneeland’s father sat in the front row holding a framed photo of his son, his hands trembling, Travis approached — not as a football superstar, but as a teammate, a brother, and a man who understood the weight of loss. Placing one arm gently around Kneeland’s father’s shoulders, Travis spoke softly, his voice steady yet full of emotion: “Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t just a player on our team — he was the soul of it. His energy, his laughter, his fight… they’ll stay with us every time we step on that field.” For a moment, the chapel fell completely silent. Then Travis lowered his head, offering a quiet prayer. His words, unspoken yet deeply felt, carried through the room — a promise that Marshawn’s spirit would live on through the game he loved and the men who played beside him. By the time Travis stepped back, tears filled the eyes of teammates, family, and friends alike. In that small chapel, it wasn’t about football anymore. It was about brotherhood, grief, and the kind of love that refuses to fade — even after the final whistle.”
