As Taylor Swift continues on the final leg of her Eras Tour, she has been frequently separated from NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The football player also has a busy schedule this fall as his team the Kansas City Chiefs works their way towards the Super Bowl.
Though they have to take some time apart, a source speaking with Page Six says that the couple has never been closer and things are getting very serious.
The insider stated that Kelce offers Swift “a tremendous sense of peace.”
“Just his physical presence,” they explained.
“She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling.
It’s a relatively new one for her, relationship-wise.”
They added, “Travis is her protector in every sense of the word.
He is going to make sure she is physically safe, and emotionally safe—he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her.”
Another Swift source explained that she is unlikely to appear at any of Kelce’s away games.
The singer has made many appearances at the Chiefs’ home games at Arrowhead Stadium, but that has been because of their security protocol and her comfort at the venue.
“She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance,” said the source.
The couple did recently appear at Yankee Stadium and at the U.S. Open, but the insider stated that the two venues had staff who were “excellent” about working with Swift’s security team.
The star’s tour comes to an end in December in Vancouver, British Columbia, at which point she is reportedly planning to spend the holidays with Kelce and their two families.
