Travis Kelce reacts to Taylor Swift’s Grammys 2024 red carpet look: ‘She killed it

Travis Kelce approves of Taylor Swift’s red carpet style.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end may be preparing for Sunday’s Super Bowl, but he wasn’t afraid to answer some questions about his girlfriend at a press conference in Las Vegas, where the big game will be held.

Kelce, 34, is known for his eye-catching style, so it comes as no surprise that he gave his stamp of approval to the “Bejeweled” singer’s black-and-white Schiaparelli look from the Grammys 2024 red carpet.

Oh, that was fresh. I liked that,” he told reporters.

He also referenced the Lorraine Schwartz vintage watch the record-breaking Grammy winner wore around her neck; its time was pointedly set to midnight, a nod to Swift’s LP that won the coveted album of the year award.

“It’s all about the accessories when you go to an awards show like that,” Kelce said. “She killed it.”

It seemed Swift is the name on everyone’s lips in Las Vegas, as even quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked about his teammate’s relationship, calling it “cool” to witness the couple’s romance and be “a little bit part of it” as his wife Brittany Mahomes grows closer to Taylor.

While the pop star opted not to mention her boyfriend in her acceptance speeches — though she did surprise fans by announcing her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” will be out April 19 — Kelce had no problem fielding Swift-related questions.

“When Travis Kelce arrived quietly at the private memorial service in Dallas, no one expected the Chiefs’ tight end to turn the somber gathering into a moment that would be remembered forever. ▶️ WATCH THE VIDEO: As Marshawn Kneeland’s father sat in the front row holding a framed photo of his son, his hands trembling, Travis approached — not as a football superstar, but as a teammate, a brother, and a man who understood the weight of loss. Placing one arm gently around Kneeland’s father’s shoulders, Travis spoke softly, his voice steady yet full of emotion: “Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t just a player on our team — he was the soul of it. His energy, his laughter, his fight… they’ll stay with us every time we step on that field.” For a moment, the chapel fell completely silent. Then Travis lowered his head, offering a quiet prayer. His words, unspoken yet deeply felt, carried through the room — a promise that Marshawn’s spirit would live on through the game he loved and the men who played beside him. By the time Travis stepped back, tears filled the eyes of teammates, family, and friends alike. In that small chapel, it wasn’t about football anymore. It was about brotherhood, grief, and the kind of love that refuses to fade — even after the final whistle.”
