Travis Kelce’s Team Has To Worry About This Taylor Swift-Related Issue That Could Blow His Image

Published

on

Everything seems to be going Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s way — a successful world tour for her, a Super Bowl win for him — let’s just call it a fairy-tale romance right now. However, there may be one thing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s team might be looking out for because it could tarnish his image if the unthinkable happens.

It’s no secret that his agents and managers have been positioning Kelce for superstardom after his football career is over, The New York Times wrote an entire article about it and shared that his business managers, André and Aaron Eanes, want to make him as famous as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. “People say to me, ‘Man, it’s been a crazy year,’” Aaron Eanes told the media outlet in January. “When I say, ‘Actually, it’s not that crazy,’ people look at me funny. It’s because it’s easy when you have a plan. We’re executing that plan.”

Other marketing experts are warning Kelce to be careful what you wish for — the bright hot spotlight can be scorching. He’s seen a little bit of the criticism from his mid-game altercation with head coach Andy Reid at the Super Bowl, and his post-celebration partying has also raised a few eyebrows. But there’s one thing Ryan Schinman, CEO OF Mayflower Entertainment, told The Wrap that he is keeping his eyes on: a Swift-Kelce breakup.

While he doesn’t represent the athlete, Schinman is concerned about where their relationship goes. “God forbid they break up,” Schinman explained. “How they break up could be devastating to his branding career. Because she is the most loved superstar and has the most rabid fans in the world, when she feels wronged, the whole world feels wronged.” He thinks that Kelce’s team needs to be prepared for that day now — just in case it ever happens.

“If it doesn’t work out Travis had better strategically plan what his messaging is,” Schinman said in reference to Swift’s predilection for writing lyrics about her exes. It’s not something Kelce would want to experience — just ask Jake Gyllenhaal about that scarf. The good news is that the adorable couple seems smitten with each other and looking toward the future, but hopefully, they are building a solid foundation away from the noise of the limelight.
