What is Taylor Swift’s flight time from Tokyo to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl?

Pop superstar Taylor Swift wraps up a four-day stop on her wildly popular Eras Tour in Japan on Saturday, the day before Super Bowl 58 kicks off between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.

Swift has been a mainstay at Chiefs games this season amid her whirlwind romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and she’s been present at every postseason game in the team’s run up to the Super Bowl, but her touring obligations have left many wondering if Swift will be able to make it to the biggest game of the year?

Don’t worry, Swifties: The answer is yes. Swift should have plenty of time to make it back to the U.S.

SUPER BOWL 58: How many times will CBS show Taylor Swift? Depends on Travis Kelce.

In fact, there’s so much time the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., issued a statement on social media reassuring fans that Swift can “wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs.”

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the embassy said on Feb. 2, peppering the statement with references to popular Swift song titles.

Here’s how Swift can pull of the epic, marathon journey to cheer on Kelce in person:

What’s the time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas?
Swift’s concert is set to begin on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. local time on Saturday in Tokyo, which is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas. Assuming her Tokyo show runs 3 ½ hours long, this would put her in the air by 10:30 p.m., factoring in time for a quick outfit change and trip to her waiting private jet. That’s 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Las Vegas

The Super Bowl, played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, doesn’t begin until 3:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, so Swift will have plenty of time to choose the right Chiefs gear to don for the game

How long will it take Taylor Swift to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas?
A flight from Tokyo to Las Vegas, at least aboard commercial airlines, takes around 12 hours to cover the 5,530-mile distance and typically includes a stop in Los Angeles

But even if Swift travels in one of her private jets as expected, she could be in Las Vegas by early evening Saturday night, even with a refueling stop.

The NFL world stopped cold the moment Clark Hunt stepped in front of the microphones. Reporters expecting routine post-game remarks suddenly fell silent when they saw the expression on the Chiefs owner’s face — tense, pale, and shaken. After the breathtaking showdown against the Bills, nobody imagined the night would take such a turn.

Shock. Silence. Fear. The NFL world froze as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes collapsed on the field, a reported torn ACL ending a crushing playoff loss. The stadium’s roar died in an instant. Chiefs Kingdom—and the entire league—was left gasping, watching a leader, a warrior, one of football’s fiercest competitors, fall. Hours later, Mahomes spoke. Short. Sharp. Unshakable: “God’s plan is bigger than this moment. I appreciate all the love. I’ll attack this recovery the same way I attack everything—with faith, focus, and determination.” The words cut through the shock, a beacon of calm amid chaos. Social media exploded—teammates, former players, coaches, fans—all rallying, praying, reminding the world: setbacks do not define greatness; resilience does. Inside the locker room, silence gave way to unity. A team bound by one goal: fight for their quarterback. The season hangs in the balance, but one truth remains undeniable—Patrick Mahomes may be down, but he is far from finished.
