Earlier this week, the tight end and the Chiefs reached an agreement on a new, two-year extension though the 2027 season.
The deal sees Kelce become the highest-paid tight end in football, with his new average annual salary worth $17.125 million – eclipsing that of New York Giants tight end Darren Waller.
Kelce’s NFL career has previously been described as a ‘side-hustle’ given his money-making ventures off the field.

‘Congratulations to Travis Kelce,’ Kimmel began. ‘Travis Kelce signed a two-year contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs. He is now the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.’
He added: ‘Can you imagine being in a relationship where you make $34 million and you’re still the broke boyfriend?’
Swift joined Forbes’ billionaire list last month as she continued her record-breaking Eras Tour.
‘Another weird thing about dating Taylor Swift is you can be one of the great players of all time, and this is the reaction you get to your contract extension,’ Kimmel added.

Kelce will be 38 come the end of the 2027 season and on this week’s episode of New Heights, Travis hinted that this could the final deal of his NFL career.
‘I’ve loved every single second of it and I’m going to love the next two years playing here in Kansas City and we’ll see what happens after that,’ Kelce said.
