Rumor : Taylor Swift secretly marrying ex Joe Alwyn that caused ‘Pain And Trauma’ with Travis*

Taylor Swift has denied rumors that she wed ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn before their shock split in early 2023.

The singer’s longtime publicist Tree Paine took to Twitter Thursday to slam claims made by the gossip page DeuxMoi, which claimed that Swift had married Alwyn in ‘either 2020 or 2021’ but it was never made legal.

It was reported earlier this year that Swift and Alwyn had broken up after nearly six-years of dating.

She is now dating NFL star Travis Kelce — who she’s hunkering down with in Missouri after spending just 12 hours in London to attend Beyonce‘s movie premiere on Thursday.

However, before the end of her relationship with Alwyn, unsubstantiated claims surfaced in 2022 that the couple were ‘secretly engaged’ and that Swift was wearing a ring in private.

Deuxmoi then resurfaced these rumors this week, when the account posted a message from an unnamed follower about Swift and Alwyn’s relationship, while doubling down on the ‘marriage claims’, insisting that the popstar ‘did have a ceremony’.

Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi,’ Paine wrote, while sharing a screenshot of the post.

She also insisted that ‘there was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind’ and that the outlet was ‘insane’ for reporting otherwise.

‘This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these,’ she concluded.

Deuxmoi — a popular Instagram page that re-posts blind items about celebrities from anonymous sources — made the bombshell claims Thursday in response to a submitted post relating to Swift.

The anonymous submission called out Swifties for running with theories about the pair’s relationship following the streaming release of Swift’s Midnights bonus track You’re Losing Me — which many believe is about Alwyn.

Her collaborator Jack Antonoff called the timeline of the couple’s split into question Wednesday after revealing the song was written in December 2021.

The source suggested that it may not be a breakup song but instead a song inspired by an ‘argument.’

They also claimed Swift was seen with Alwyn shortly before their 2023 split based on past blind items and called out Deuxmoi for their marriage claims.

She DID have a ceremony in 2020 or 2021 in the UK and it was described to me as a ‘marriage’ by more than one person ,’ the drama page responded, adding: ‘It was NEVER made legal.’

The account’s owner said they would ‘die on this hill’ and ‘put it on my tombstone.

‘I have no reason to lie, I could give a sh*t what she does!!!!! I’m sorry she didn’t tell you guys about it in a song but just because she doesn’t sing about something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen!!!’

After Paine called them out, Deuxmoi apologized to Swift while also criticizing the publicist’s ‘choice of words.’

‘Well I make zero dollars from lying.. can publicists say the same. Also, to relate something that is in reference to something that happened years ago to ‘pain & trauma’ after what just happened seems like a poor choice of words,’ they wrote.

Either way, I apologize to Taylor.’
The original Deuxmoi post was inspired by Swifties who went into overdrive following the streaming release of You’re Losing Me this week.

It is available on music streaming platforms for the first time and features telling lyrics like, ‘My heart won’t start anymore for you’ and ‘I wouldn’t marry me either.’

The song was previously released digitally via her web store in May.

Elated Swifites took to X to express both their happiness at the release and hash out mixed feelings about Taylor’s ex Joe.

One fan comically mused: ‘Legend has it you’re losing me was written using Joe Alwyn’s tears as ink.’

Another humorously shared a photo of a video game character glued to their computer as a fire broke out in their bedroom.

Not now sweetie ‘you’re losing me’ is out now on streaming platforms,’ the fan tweeted on X.

One couldn’t believe the track was now widely available as they shared a GIF of Oprah Winfrey. ‘NO WAY…. YOU’RE LOSING ME OUT EVERYWHERE???? YOU’RE KIDDING ME??’ the fan wrote.

Another devoted fan shared a photo of Taylor sitting at the Grammys beside an overjoyed Camila Cabello, who represented all Swifites. An image of the You’re Losing Me track was edited over Swift.
You’re losing me is finally on streaming platforms… THANK YOU MOTHER,’ the fan tweeted alongside the image.

Another shared video of Vice President Kamala Harris on the day President Biden won the election. ‘You’re losing me finally out on all streaming platforms i prayed for times like this,’ the fan wrote.

For others, the track brought up mixed feelings about Taylor’s six-year long relationship with Joe.

‘Happy for people who wanted You’re Losing Me to be available to stream but I personally can’t listen to that song or I will think about [TRAIN DRIVES BY] [TIRES SCREECHING]-ing Joe Alwyn,’ another wrote.

‘Merry Christmas Joe Alwyn. ‘Stop You’re Losing Me’ is out on streaming,’ another posted.

One person stood up for the actor: ‘I just hope now that you’re losing me is on streaming services people DON’T go and bully Joe like LEAVE HIM ALONE! Haven’t you bullied him enough when we first heard the song!? LEAVE JOE ALWYN ALONE!!’

Last year, The Sun claimed she has been engaged to her boyfriend for a ‘few months.’

They alleged Swift was wearing an engagement ring ‘behind closed doors’ and that the couple only informed their close friends of the news.
